Steve’s Plumbing & A/C Service

I'm only writing this review to highlight the efforts of an individual technician. Zach Brownfield has over 10 years of experience in and out of Hawaii. His skill and expertise is extremely evident in his work. It's clear to me he is passionate about his trade and it's also clear his training polished him into the highly skilled technician he is today.

Not only did Zach install 3 faucets and drains, a water softener, a toilet, and repair a hot water heater, he provided detailed explanations of what he was doing and took the time to provide tips and tricks to better maintain all of these items. I watched as Zach meticulously installed these items leaving no stone unturned and taking no shortcuts. Zach also repaired problematic items performed by an unskilled plumber from another company.

It was clear Zach was focused on getting the job done to completeness and perfection, time was not his priority, but rather, Zach went above and beyond and though I believe the prices are too high Zach did his best to find ways to make the service affordable. If this review was for Zach alone, it would be a 10/5 (Amazing job), but due to the price gouging, I rate Steve's Plumbing a 4. HIGHLY recommend you call and request Zach for all your plumbing needs in the future!

Another fine job done, Leland and Nathan did a great job repairing our showers we appreciate a job well done Steve 's you guys the best in my books.

Fantastic service in all aspects! Easy to make an appointment with the friendly dispatcher and they arrived at the agreed time the next day. Leland & Nate came and they quickly identified the problems and took care of them. Leland was very clear and professional in explaining the solutions. I was really glad I found this company. After being let down by other plumbing companies, Steve's plumbing showed up when they said they would, and sent two guys that knew what they were doing. Friendly, professional, and had the right skill set to do the job. Very happy.

I needed to find out if my water heater could be fixed or not and Josh after inspecting it and hearing about the history of it, gave me various actions I could choose. Still no hot water but I am working towards solving the problem. Mahalo Josh.

Sinks drained slowly. They helped with opening the drain to help it drain properly. Cordial and great service.

Thank you to Richard from Steve's Plumbing and A/C service for servicing our AC unit. It started leaking water on Thursday night, made an appointment online on Friday and got a call from their office. We were able to get our unit serviced on Monday. Richard was extremely informative and efficient. He gave us options for pricing. We were mostly concerned with the unit that was leaking, but he was able to clean the drain and service the other two units for a decent rate.

He also gave us maintenance tips for us to keep our ACs running well in between service appointments. Mahalo to Richard and Steve's Plumbing for helping us with all of our ACs, especially our leaking AC unit!

Our bathtubs and hot water tank needed attention. We called for a service and they came later that afternoon. Our technician was Wereloe Baluran and he was excellent. Very polite, efficient and confident in his ability to do the job for us. The next day he arrived with a new hot water tank with Josiah to help and they had our old tank out and new one installed within a few hours. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend your company to anyone that needs plumbing and drain work done. 10/10

New review: My scheduling experiences have been much better lately. Plumbing Technicians (Matt and David) and A/C Technicians (Justin) were thorough and great. I have consistently had issues with the call center, however, the plumbers are always great. Matt represents the company extremely well. He is patient and explains well. He is the reason I continue to use Steve's Plumbing despite having issues with the consistent rescheduling and full voicemail box when I return a call.

Very satisfied with service received overall. Had initial issue with repair that was rectified quickly & satisfactorily. Responsive to initial call, as well as follow up on issue. Matt is very knowledgable and professional! The owner's of Steve's have a valuable employee in Matt and I encourage them to give Matt a 'route' close to his home so he can stop driving 4 or more hours everyday to get to work and home again. Also, I don't know how much he makes per hour, but give him a raise - he's so deserving! Leon was fantastic! Friendly, fast, thorough, and clean. Not sure if it's a good value since plumbing service pricing, but I'm very satisfied with the work so it was worth every penny.
