Mr. Wilson Sr. started Wilson Plumbing Co., Inc. as an appliance company in 1943. In 1945, he turned his appliance company into a plumbing business where his store remained in front of Texas A&M until 1994. Mr. Wilson Sr. eventually sold the business to his two grandsons. There are two locations, one in The Brazos Valley and the other is in Austin, TX.
Mr. Wilson's grandson, Tom, ran the business here in The Brazos Valley until 2001 when he sold it to J.B. and Sophia Alexshonis. J.B. started working for Tom in 1989 and cared about the business as if it were his own. He carries out the same customer orientation, production, and work ethic intended by the Wilson family and keeps meeting the expectations of customers in the Brazos Valley that they've experienced for the last 70 years.
