I found Nicholson Plumbing on Yelp and called them at 8 this morning.
A bright, cheerful young lady answered the phone and said she would send someone between 12:30 and 2:00.
Two plumbers arrived at 12:20 and cleared the roots from the main effluent line and were done by 1:20.
They based their price on the distance to the jam and it came out way less than what I paid another plumber for the same problem 12-14 years ago.
In summary, they came the same day I called, got the job done promptly, were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and the price was excellent.
