Founded in 1948, the SDAPHCC is a membership organization of active plumbing, heating, and cooling contractors in South Dakota and northwest Iowa dedicated to the promotion, advancement, education and training of the industry for the protection of the health, safety, and comfort of society, and the protection of the environment. The SDAPHCC is composed of over 60 contractor members and 60 sustaining members.
Our contractor members perform all types of work from residential and commercial to industrial and institutional. They range in size from one and two man operations to the largest contractors in the state. As an organization, we constantly strive to serve the needs of our members and the industry. We offer a variety of member benefits including an approved apprentice program, continuing education, annual convention, and a monthly newsletter.

The SDAPHCC and IAPMO partnered together to offer continuing education classes for South Dakota Plumbing Contractors and Journeymen.
Eighteen in-person classes were held across SD in March and April.
These courses were approved by the South Dakota Plumbing Commission and fulfilled the continuing education requirement for annual license renewal.
