Opened in April of 2003 by Jarrett J. Rousseau. Rousseau Plumbing & Heating has provided plumbing and heating repair, and replacement services throughout Connecticut mainly serving the New Haven county. A veteran owned company taking pride in providing the best service available. Jarrett was born in Hartford, grew up in the small town of Higganum.

After graduation Jarrett joined the U.S. Coast Guard where he earned several awards and qualifications as a Damage Controlman. Upon honorably separating from the Coast Guard after 8 years Jarrett began pursuing a career as a plumber. Earning a unlimited master plumbing, piping, and heating license from Connecticut he proudly opened Rousseau Plumbing & Heating in 2003.

On September 2nd, with no thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Ida, our basement flooded with 46” of water. Needless to say, our old boiler and fairly new hot water tank were dead. Well, after a lot of cleaning and researching, we were lucky to find Rousseau Plumbing & Heating, LLC. Jarrett came out and had some great ideas on what system would work best for our home. We are thrilled with the result. He suggested and we went with a condensing combi-boiler, tankless on-demand hot water unit by Viessmann. They started the tear out of the old system on Tuesday, as well getting the new wall for the unit built, and said unit hung up on it. On Friday they came and finished the job and it’s a shiny beauty. Jarrett, along with Garrett and Nick, did excellent work. Jarrett’s attention to detail and clean, straight work really impressed. They were very timely, worked diligently, hardly taking a break, and left the work area clean.
We can’t wait to feel the warmth from the new system and the ability to take nice, long hot showers again. We look forward to using your company again for other jobs around the house and years of timely service. Thank you, guys; your professionalism and expediency really helped us out during this unfortunate circumstance. But, we came out of it all the better with this great new system. I have used Rousseau Plumbing several times and they have never disappointed. Just had a serious pipe leak in a crawl space in the basement. Marcus and his assistant arrived in approximately two hours and fixed the problem promptly. Couldn’t be happier.

Jarrett and his team are 5 star! Astounding customer service and follow through. Honest and are very mindful about the quality of their work. While installing a commode, Nick spoke up about a serious venting issue with the furnace. This issue could have led to high amounts of CO in my condo. He truly potentially saved my life thanks to his diligence and trusting his instinct.
