Services
Let me tell you all about Tomball Plumbing.
I started my plumbing career over 20 years ago as an apprentice for one of the the most respected master plumbers in the industry.
Under his guidance I developed a great work ethic and learned how to provide the best quality service at a competitive price.
Six years later I began working at one of Houston's premier plumbing companies.
After a few years I was promoted to the field supervisor position, overseeing all of the technicians in their daily operations.
Tomball Plumbng replace water heaters in Tomball, Magnolia and surrounding.
Water heaters are necessary in our homes to provide the hot water we need for bathing, cleaning clothes, and washing dishes.
The average life expectancy of a water heater in the Tomball and Magnolia area is 10 years.
Most water heaters in homes in these areas are located in the attic.
So, we recommend considering water heater replacement at 10 years due to possible damage that may be caused if the water heater develops a leak.
Tomball Plumbing believes strongly in the benefits of a water treatment system.
Harris and Montgomery counties are high on the list of poorest water quality in the United States.
Municipal water is treated with a disinfectant to kill harmful bacteria in the water supply.
The most common disinfectant used in the Harris and Montgomery county area is a combination of chlorine and ammonia called Chloramines.
Ammonia is added to the water to extend the life of Chlorine as it goes through the water distribution system.
Foundation settling, cracks in your sheetrock, doors that will not close or slow drains.
Any of these may be caused by leaks in the drainage system under the house causing the foundation to settle.
When this happens, a hydrostatic test is recommended.
A balloon type test ball is installed at the exit point of the building drain, usually a main sewer cleanout.
The test ball is then inflated to not allow water to exit the building.
One toilet is pulled and water is used to fill the system with the exit blocked.
Toilet overflow, a sink or basins that won't drain or that drains slowly, water standing in the tub.
These are preliminary signs of a problem in your home sewer system.
When this happens it may not always be a major problem.
Drain systems can accumulate buildup over time from detergents, hair, grease, soap scum or foreign objects.
This buildup may eventually lead to a total blockage, causing a backup in one or several fixtures.
In most cases, this problem is resolved by using a drain cleaning machine to clear the blockage.
