Next we turned off the water, carefully removed the tub & shower valve and drained the lines from the bath tub.

When we arrived the customer explained that they would find water on the basement floor after someone would take a shower.
We proceeded to the basement while we had the customer run bathtub water.
We found that customer had two problems.
The first problem was that the waste & overflow on the bathtub was corroded and the customer tried using tape to stop the leak which did not work out.
