Bill Davenport and John Kaczmarczyk founded D&K Sales Company in 1980.
Bill started his career at Great Lake Sales in Cleveland, Ohio in 1971.
Working with his dad, Frank "Davvy" Davenport, he learned the manufacturing rep business for the next 9 years when he was offered the Delta Faucet Company line in Kansas and Western Missouri.
Bill asked John to join him in this new adventure and moved to the Midwest in 1980.
Bill was located in the Kansas City area and John was located in Wichita, KS.
After hiring a new outside salesman in Wichita, John moved to Kansas City in 1984.
