A toilet fill tube, otherwise known as a fill valve, is the key component inside a toilet tank that facilitates its normal operation.
Over time the fill valve can wear or become loose, sometimes requiring minor toilet repair and other times requiring a full replacement.
New fill valves are not expensive nor are they hard to install, as long as you exercise the proper caution.
With the old assembly removed you should be able to easily insert the new fill valve into place in the same location.
Slide the tube through the hole where the old part was removed, and retighten the nut that secures it underneath the tank.

This occurs because the hot water that would normally be insulated in the hot water tank is instead in the tubes where there is no insulation to retain the heat.

When installing the re circulating pump in your hot water system you do not have to consider insulating.
