I graduated from Novato High (class of 1987) and started my hands-on experience right out of high school digging ditches for Scott Travis at Travis plumbing.
Ken Loomis, the foreman at Travis, taught me the craft.
I became the foreman at Travis Plumbing when Ken Loomis left to start his own company.
Later I became a foreman at Ken Loomis mechanical, at that time the most respected plumbing company in Marin.
While working for Loomis mechanical I went through the PHCC plumbing heating cooling contractors school taught by Gene Burch himself.
