Imperial Plumbing is a family-owned business that was founded in 2009. We take great pride in our work and enjoy working in the service side of the residential and commercial plumbing industry. Toby Thomas is a Texas born plumber who earned his status of Master Plumber by age 30. Toby has been in the residential service industry for the past 15 years working in the Denton and Collin County area.

He is married to Josephine Thomas and is a proud father of two wonderful children Ethan and Logan Thomas. For fun Toby enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and raising his African Sulcata tortoises.
Services
Prices for plumbing work depend on many factors like the type of work, the amount of effort that it will take to bring the current plumbing up to code, and even the specific requirements in the town or city you live in.
We are happy to provide a free written estimate for water heater replacements, replacement of current fixtures, or plumbing remodels.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide free estimates for anything that will require troubleshooting because we cannot know how long that will take up front.
Choosing the right person to come work on your home - on your most valuable possession - is not an easy decision or one to be taken lightly.
The most important question is "can I trust this person to do the job well and treat me fairly."
We know that we will do the job right, but highly encourage you to do your own research as well.
Below is a short list of the recommendations by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners of research you should do.
Obtain the name of the Responsible Master Plumber for the company and his/her license number.
We can't guarantee that every job will be the same, but here are the basic steps that we follow when working with you on your plumbing needs.
We provide a free estimate over the phone or a free written estimate for remodels and water heater replacements.
Sorry, we cannot provide a free written estimate for plumbing issues that may require troubleshooting to determine the root cause of an issue.
We talk with you to determine the urgency of your issue.
If it is an emergency then we will move our schedule around to get there as quickly as possible.
To keep your tank water heaters operating properly there are two basic maintenance procedures that need to be done annually, 1) flush the tank to ensure that sediment doesn't build up inside it, and 2) activate the temperature and pressure relief valve to ensure it doesn't become frozen in place.
Flushing a tank water heater is easy, you don't even need to mess with turning off the water supply!
Simply attach a water hose to the drain valve (see a picture of a drain valve to the right for reference) located at the bottom of the water heater.
