Owner Jimmy Morton is a native Nashvillian.
He started out working for a couple of small plumbing companies, but before too long, he just branched out on his own.
He said, "I went in business (for myself) because I felt like I could control the quality."
In 1986, Jimmy started Morton Plumbing, with only one plumber, himself.
Jimmy said he did not have any regrets and surprisingly, little fear in stepping out on his own.
He described the feeling as one of "release".
In the beginning, he worked totally on his own, as a one-man plumbing company.
He started out working for a couple of small plumbing companies, but before too long, he just branched out on his own.
